On Friday afternoon, a derailment of two coaches occurred on the Muzaffarpur-Sabarmati JanSadharan Express between Kanpur and Tundla, as confirmed by Railway Ministry officials.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Two coaches, including a trolley coach, derailed along the loop line, with the incident affecting the fifth and sixth coaches from the engine at Bhaupur Yard around 4:20 pm.
Immediate restoration efforts are underway. Officials, including the general manager of the North Central Railway Zone, have swiftly proceeded to the scene to oversee the response.
