Blue Star Ltd's June quarter saw a 28.4% drop in net profit to Rs 120.82 crore, as the early monsoon and a mild summer impacted its room AC business. The June FY26 revenue rose 4% to Rs 2,982.25 crore, up from Rs 2,865.37 crore a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing.
The company's expenses grew by 6.4% during the quarter, reaching Rs 2,833.68 crore. Revenue from electro-mechanical projects and commercial air conditioning surged by 36% to Rs 1,412.46 crore, indicating robust demand from sectors like healthcare and data centers.
While the room AC business faced downturns, commercial refrigeration saw strong growth, driven by the processed food and pharmaceutical sectors. Blue Star Ltd remains optimistic about demand revival during the festive season, backed by a diversified B2B portfolio.
