Leading QSR chain, Jubilant Foods Ltd, has launched its US-based Fried Chicken brand, Popeyes, in Mumbai, opening four outlets in the bustling city.

Since entering India in January 2022 through a master franchise agreement with Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd, Popeyes has been expanding its presence vigorously, setting its sights on key southern cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad, as well as Delhi NCR in the north.

According to CEO and MD Sameer Khetarpal, the brand has been warmly received across India, and there's confidence in Mumbai's acceptance given the city's penchant for diverse and vibrant flavors.
