The Mumbai Coastal Road, formally known as Dharmaveer Swarajya Rakshak Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Road, is now officially open 24/7 for all four-wheelers and buses, a civic official announced. This marks a significant improvement in Mumbai's transport infrastructure.
Following the completion of all construction work, the road was made accessible for vehicles starting Saturday morning. This includes the entire stretch, complete with bridges, tunnels, and underpasses, all now available for public use.
As a result, the north-bound connector from Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Road to the Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link has been closed due to redundancy, further updating Mumbai's complex traffic network to streamline movement across the city.
