Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., a leader in India's pumps industry, has made strides in green energy after receiving approval from Maharashtra's electricity board for the 'Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump' initiative. This facilitates the deployment of 1,884 solar water pumping systems, a project valued at Rs. 49 Crs.
The initiative aims to provide farmers with sustainable irrigation solutions, combining efficiency with ease of maintenance. Alongside a comprehensive five-year warranty, Crompton offers repair services and remote monitoring systems, ensuring reliable service in rural regions. The project is backed by trained staff, district-level service centers, and a bilingual helpline for ongoing support.
