Akasa Air has announced a successful funding round, gathering capital from investors such as Premji Invest and Claypond Capital. The funds will serve chiefly to expand its operations.
The airline, founded three years ago, remained discreet about the total investments secured in the recent strategic transactions revealed earlier this year.
The funding's completion, which required regulatory approvals, marks a significant step in Akasa Air's ambition to rank within the world's top 30 airlines, leveraging these resources to advance technology, improve customer experience, and enhance safety.
