Highway Rig Machine Fire Contained Swiftly in Thane
A fire broke out on a rig machine transported via trailer on Maharashtra's Thane highway, causing equipment damage without injuries. Thane Municipal Corporation's Yasin Tadvi stated that the fire, reported early morning, was quickly contained by fire and disaster management teams. The cause is under investigation.

A fire erupted on a trailer-mounted rig machine while moving through Thane city, Maharashtra, early Thursday morning. The blaze resulted in damage to the equipment, but fortunately, no injuries were reported, according to Thane Municipal Corporation's disaster management cell chief, Yasin Tadvi.
Officials reported the incident around 3.46 am near a temple located on the Eastern Express Highway in the Naupada area. The affected rig machine, being transported from Kalyan to Mahim in Mumbai, had its battery and control panel catch fire.
The fire and disaster management teams acted swiftly, bringing the situation under control without casualties. The blaze was extinguished by 4.30 am, and investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the fire, according to Tadvi.
