Two delivery drones operated by Amazon Prime Air collided with a crane in Tolleson, Arizona, according to announcements made Thursday by two U.S. agencies.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed they will conduct investigations into the incident.
Amazon, which began drone deliveries in the Phoenix Metro Area's West Valley from its Tolleson site in November 2024, is under scrutiny following the crash.
