This shift underscores the pivotal role younger buyers are playing in shaping the real estate landscape of the city.
Puranik Group has been identified as the leading developer appealing to these millennials, as per feedback from over 1,200 homebuyers across Ghodbunder Road, Majiwada, and Kolshet. Key preferences among this demographic include affordability, wellness facilities, smart layouts, and community-centered architecture.
The survey also indicated that Thane's residential capital values have surged by 46% in the past three years. With a compound annual growth rate of 13-14%, Thane stands out as a resilient growth hub within the larger Mumbai Metropolitan Region, which remains India's largest housing market.
