The Rajasthan government has announced the allocation of 65 acres of land in the Ghiloth Industrial Area to PMI Electro Mobility Solutions. The move, which involves a Rs 1,200 crore investment, aims to establish the first electric bus manufacturing plant in the state.

PMI Electro Mobility Solutions will utilize the investment to produce a range of e-buses and associated components. This initiative stems from an MoU signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, signaling a pivotal shift in the region's industrial landscape.

According to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the facility will significantly further the Make in India initiative, foster industrial growth, and generate vast employment opportunities. The plant represents a stride toward green energy and sustainable transport, enhancing Rajasthan's status as an emerging electric vehicle manufacturing hub.
