Stone Pelting Incident on Mumbai-Howrah Duronto Express
In Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, the Railway Protection Force registered a case against unidentified persons for pelting stones at the Mumbai-Howrah Duronto Express. The incident cracked a coach windowpane, but no injuries were reported. An investigation to apprehend the culprits is underway.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district lodged a case against unknown individuals for stone pelting on the Mumbai-Howrah Duronto Express, officials stated on Thursday.
According to JN Mishra, RPF Manoharpur officer-in-charge, the incident occurred near Manoharpur station when a stone hit an AC 2-tier coach. A red light had temporarily halted the train, providing an opportunity for the attack.
While only a windowpane was damaged and no injuries were reported, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Aditya Kumar Choudhary assured that an inquiry is active and the perpetrators will be apprehended shortly.
