The National Abilympics 2025, hosted at the Civil Services Officers Institute in New Delhi, concluded with resounding success, celebrating vocational skills and inclusion for persons with disabilities. Organized by Sarthak Educational Trust, the event was backed by the National Abilympic Association of India and other prominent bodies.
The grand finale saw 59 regional finalists from over 20 states compete in diverse skill categories, including ICT, crafts, hospitality, and more. Notable figures including Dr. Vineet Joshi, former UGC Chairman, and Rajiv Kumar, former Election Commissioner, attended, applauding the participants for their excellence and determination.
Maharashtra stood out with multiple wins, while regional winners now look forward to representing India at the 11th International Abilympics in Finland 2027. The event emphasized India's progress in creating opportunities for persons with disabilities and reinforcing vocational empowerment across the nation.
