Urgent Measures: Special Trains & Buses to Tackle Airline Chaos

The South Central Railway announced on Saturday that it is launching four special trains to handle an increase in passengers following significant cancellations of IndiGo flights at Hyderabad's airport.

This intervention comes amid widespread travel disruptions, long queues, and passenger frustrations as 74 IndiGo flights outgoing from Hyderabad were cancelled. GMR Hyderabad International Airport has partnered with Telangana State Road Transport Corporation to provide additional bus services for affected flyers.

In a statement, IndiGo expressed its commitment to resolving operational challenges swiftly. Although the number of cancellations has reduced below 850, the airline is still under scrutiny from frustrated travelers demanding clarity and action.
