Amid ongoing flight disruptions, the government has promised action against IndiGo depending on the findings of an inquiry committee. Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu met with IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers and senior officials to discuss remedies.

The urgent talks in the national capital sought to mitigate the disruptions that have persisted for five days, adversely affecting countless passengers. Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha and DGCA chief Faiz Ahmed Kidwai were among those who attended.

Alongside restoring normalcy, airlines were asked to promptly refund ticket cancellations, with further decisions based on the inquiry to be made in 15 days. A temporary cap on airfares has also been imposed to assist travelers.
