SEPC Ltd, an engineering, procurement, and construction firm, announced on Thursday the resolution of its dispute with Hindustan Copper Ltd, resulting in a Rs 72.5 crore mining project deal with the state-owned company.
This agreement includes a payment of Rs 30.45 crore to SEPC as a full and final settlement, effectively closing all arbitration matters between the two firms. According to a filing with the BSE, the companies concluded all inter-se claims and counterclaims, showcasing successful negotiations.
Furthermore, Hindustan Copper Ltd has confirmed the issuance of a supplementary work order valued at Rs 72.5 crore for the ongoing vertical shaft sinking project. This achievement not only heightens the project's overall value but also reinforces SEPC Ltd's reputation as a prominent EPC partner in the mining infrastructure sector. SEPC remains a leader in the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of large-scale infrastructure projects nationwide.
