In a tragic accident in Arunachal Pradesh, a truck plunged into a gorge, resulting in the loss of 18 lives. The lone survivor, Budheswar Deep, has been hospitalized in critical condition at Assam Medical College and Hospital in Dibrugarh.
Authorities revealed that Deep, only 23, initially received treatment at Tinsukia Medical College but was referred to a more specialized facility in Dibrugarh due to severe head and chest injuries. Medical professionals emphasize that his condition remains critical and he is not yet out of danger.
Despite severe trauma, Deep managed to trek to the nearest camp to alert authorities, leading to rescue efforts. The accident is believed to have occurred on the night of December 8th in a remote area, 40 km from Hayuliang towards Chaglagam.
