Khandu described the initiative as a significant force in transforming dreamers into job creators, reshaping India's economic ecosystem.

Celebrated annually on January 16, National Startup Day marks the inception of Startup India and honors the vital role of startups in fostering nation-building, innovative solutions, and job creation. Since its 2016 launch, Startup India has aimed to nurture innovation, support entrepreneurship, and establish a vibrant startup culture. It emphasizes regulatory ease, funding, industry-academia collaboration, and motivating young innovators to turn ideas into enterprises, contributing significantly to employment, technological advancement, and economic growth.
