Maruti Suzuki's Global Expansion: The Victoris Sets Sail

Maruti Suzuki India has announced the commencement of exports for its mid-size SUV, Victoris, now being globally marketed as 'Across'. This move marks a significant step in the company's global outreach strategy.
More than 450 units have already been dispatched from the Mundra and Pipavav ports. The vehicle is set to be distributed across approximately 100 countries, including significant markets like Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
Maruti Suzuki India's MD and CEO, Hisashi Takeuchi, emphasized the brand's commitment to global expansion. He highlighted how the company's export growth outpaced industry averages, buoyed by models like the VICTORIS and the re-entry into Europe with the e VITARA.
