Delhi traffic will face significant disruptions as rehearsals for the Republic Day parade get underway. According to a police advisory issued Friday, the rehearsals will affect movement along Kartavya Path from Vijay Chowk to India Gate, with key crossings restricted on January 17, 19, 20, and 21.

To ensure smooth execution of the parade, authorities will enforce traffic restrictions from 10.15 am to 12.30 pm on each of the designated rehearsal days. Motorists are advised to plan their routes carefully, seeking alternative ways such as the Ring Road, to avoid delays.

Commuters should use specified alternative routes involving major roads such as Sarai Kale Khan, Mathura Road, and Sardar Patel Marg to move across the city effectively. Pay attention to updates and instructions from on-duty traffic personnel to ensure a seamless journey.
