A devastating car crash on the old Ahmedabad highway in Udaipur claimed the lives of four teenagers and injured six others on Saturday, according to local authorities.
The accident happened near Nela Talab in the Savina area, with all deceased identified as residents of Udaipur. Savina station house officer Ajayraj Singh disclosed that the victims were Mohammad Ayan (17), Adil Qureshi (14), Sher Mohammad (19), and Ghulam Khwaja (17).
Singh said the teenagers had attended a 'Mehfil-e-Milad' event and were en route for tea when their vehicle was struck by another car carrying a Gujarat registration. The second car was traveling from Rajgarh to Vapi in Gujarat, and its occupants suffered injuries. The police have seized both vehicles as investigations continue.
