Chennai, Jan 27 (PT) – Officials confirmed a minor fire incident at Chennai airport's international departure area on Tuesday, which was promptly contained.
Preliminary information indicated that the incident began with a spark, leading to smoke in a staff canteen. Authorities quickly managed the situation, ensuring normal operations continued.
Flight schedules remained intact, with the next T2 departure taking off as planned at 2:35 PM, according to a senior airport official.
