In a pioneering effort to preserve and promote India's rich culinary tradition, ISKCON Govardhan Ecovillage in Palghar launched the Govardhan School of Culinary Arts. This institution is the first of its kind dedicated to Sattvik cooking, a genre grounded in vegetarianism and spiritual purity.

The launch event was attended by prominent guests, eager academicians, and influential figures from the hospitality industry. The ceremony included traditional prayers, a curated lunch, and a tour of the new facility. At its core, the school embraces the principles laid down by ISKCON's Founder Acharya, Srila Prabhupada, advocating for nutritious and spiritually uplifting Sattvik food.

Collaborating with Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts and Nutritional Sciences, the initiative is set to offer world-class culinary training. His Holiness Radhanath Swami and other leading chefs will guide this institution, aiming to reposition Palghar as a hub for sustainable culinary education.
