Himachal Pradesh showcased a commendable economic performance in 2025-26, achieving a real growth of 8.3% in Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) despite financial constraints and natural calamities.
The services sector emerged as a key driver, contributing 46.3% to the state's Gross State Value Added (GSVA) with 8.6% growth. Additionally, the agriculture sector recorded a marked increase, with the crop sector witnessing significant improvement.
The tourism sector rebounded impressively, and hydropower projects contributed significantly to state earnings, underlining the state's diverse economic resilience and potential.
