NALCO Achieves Record-breaking Production and Sales in 2025-26

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) reported its best-ever production and sales in the 2025-26 fiscal. The state-run Odisha-based company saw record outputs in bauxite excavation, alumina hydrate, calcined alumina, cast metal production, and power generation. The company also experienced significant growth in alumina and aluminium sales.

State-run National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has achieved unprecedented success in the 2025-26 fiscal year, with production and sales figures surpassing all previous records. This milestone reaffirms NALCO's reputation as a leader in the alumina and aluminium sector, highlighting its integrated operations strategy.

In its official statement, NALCO reported record-breaking outputs across several key segments. Bauxite excavation reached 77.01 lakh tonnes, while alumina hydrate production totaled 23 lakh tonnes. Calcined alumina was measured at 22.75 lakh tonnes, alongside cast metal production of 4.72 lakh tonnes, with a net power generation of 6,953 million units and coal output of 40 lakh tonnes.

Sales figures also showed impressive growth: total alumina sales rose to 14.46 lakh tonnes with aluminium metal sales at 4.74 lakh tonnes. Reviewing these achievements, NALCO CMD Brijendra Pratap Singh celebrated the company's successes and outlined future growth focused on plant, people, and process efficiencies.
