India and Singapore are formulating a strategic roadmap to provide infrastructure for digital corridor collaboration and green shipping, according to Vijay Kumar, Secretary of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. The plan features a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), advancing from last year’s commitments on digitalisation and decarbonisation signed during Singapore Maritime Week. Key aspects such as investment details and future demand for green fuel are actively being explored, with both nations leveraging their strengths.

The maritime summit in Singapore features India's culturally inspired INSV Kaundinya ship, highlighting traditional maritime techniques. More than 20,000 attendees from across the globe are expected as India and Singapore push forward with their joint maritime aspirations.
