In a span of 24 hours, Jharkhand witnessed four harrowing road accidents, resulting in seven fatalities, including three minors, according to police reports on Monday.
The first incident unfolded in Giridih district on National Highway-2, claiming two lives, including an eight-year-old girl, and injuring around 15 others after a violent collision between two four-wheelers.
Meanwhile, Palamu and Chatra districts recorded five more deaths from separate mishaps, affecting residents and raising serious concerns over road safety measures.
