The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) initiated a public survey on Monday to gather insights into residents’ commuting habits, including their preferences between buses or other vehicles.

This comprehensive exercise forms a crucial part of the route rationalisation efforts and includes queries about vehicle ownership, trip details, and types of passes used by commuters.

DTC is aligning with the transport department's strategy to phase out older CNG buses in favor of a more sustainable, electric fleet of 4,538 buses. The insights aim for a data-driven upgrade of the city's bus network.
