United Breweries Posts Prolific Premium Growth Amid Revenue Decline
United Breweries Ltd, under Heineken NV's control, reported a slight rise in Q4 FY26 net profit to Rs 101.87 crore, compared to last year's Rs 97.76 crore. Despite marginal revenue drop to Rs 4,408.41 crore, premium segments showed strong growth. Full-year profit decreased by 6.55% amidst ongoing cost pressures.
United Breweries Ltd, a major player in the beer industry under the control of Heineken NV, revealed a 4.2% increase in its consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 101.87 crore for the March quarter of FY26, compared to Rs 97.76 crore a year ago.
The company's revenue from operations slightly decreased to Rs 4,408.41 crore, down from Rs 4,427.15 crore in the same period last year. Despite this, the company highlighted 'a strong finish to the year' driven by premium brands like Kingfisher Ultra and Heineken Silver.
The CEO and MD Vivek Gupta acknowledged the ongoing cost pressures due to geopolitical uncertainties but expressed optimism about long-term growth prospects in the Indian beer market. Shares of United Breweries closed at Rs 1,453.95 on BSE, a 0.7% decrease from the previous close.
