Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced the receipt of a substantial order from JSW Steel valued at between Rs 10,000 crore and Rs 15,000 crore.

This project is a crucial component of JSW Steel's strategic plan to amplify its crude steel processing capability to over 50 million tonnes per annum by 2031. L&T's role will emphasize engineering, procurement, and installation of essential process facilities, particularly in Ballari, Karnataka, and Paradip, Odisha.

L&T’s minerals and metals division reports that this marks its largest-ever domestic order, highlighting a significant milestone in their enduring partnership with JSW Steel, spanning more than 30 years in executing intricate metallurgical ventures.
