In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to conserve petrol and diesel, Madhya Pradesh Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has adopted the use of an electric scooter. His initiative aims to support environmental conservation and the reduction of foreign exchange expenditure.
Alongside Minister Tomar, BJP MLA from Bhopal South-West, Bhagwandas Sabnani, has also embraced the use of e-vehicles, opting for an e-rickshaw. Their actions have not only garnered public attention but have also sparked discussions on sustainable transport alternatives in urban settings.
Minister Tomar conveyed that, whenever feasible, he will prioritize e-scooters for city travel, reserving car or train rides for longer journeys, thereby setting an example for others to follow.
