A training aircraft from Redbird Flight Training Academy crash-landed near Baramati airstrip in Pune due to a technical malfunction. The trainee pilot, the sole occupant, escaped unscathed.

According to police and eyewitnesses, the incident occurred around 8:50 am when the aircraft hit an electricity pole during the forced landing.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has launched a probe into the crash, noting previous similar incidents. Redbird Flight Training Academy confirmed no injuries and is cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigation.
