On Friday evening, a fire erupted in an empty coach of the Hyderabad–Jaipur Special Train, stationed at a local railway station, as it was being prepared for departure.
No passengers were present at the time, and there were no reported injuries. Swift action ensured that the fire was brought under control rapidly.
The South Central Railway, with headquarters in Secunderabad, confirmed that the affected coaches were detached. The train was being aligned on the platform at 18:45 hours for a planned departure at 19:50 hours.
