Grofers reports revenue of INR 53 crores, 57% jump since last financial year

Grofers India Private Limited, an online grocery firm, reported its revenues for the financial year 2017-18 as INR 53 crores, a 57% jump since the last financial year. The company further reported a net loss of INR 258 crores during the same fiscal. This is almost the same as that of the last financial year. The company's total expenses for the fiscal were reported as INR 311 crores.

According to financial data accessed by business intelligence platform, Tofler, it is interesting to note that of INR 53 crores revenue, about 23 crores is other income and 29 crores are operative income. Operating income has increased from 13 crores to 29 crores since the last financial year.
