Tragic Collision in Rajasthan: Four Lives Lost in Nagaur Accident
A severe collision between a Rajasthan roadways bus and a car in Nagaur district claimed four lives, including a police constable. Four bus passengers sustained injuries and are receiving treatment. In a devastating incident on Sunday, a fatal collision between a Rajasthan roadways bus and a car occurred in Nagaur district, resulting in the tragic deaths of four individuals and injuries to four others, according to police reports.
The accident took place on the Merta-Kuchera road, with the force of the crash completely mangling the car and instantly killing all four occupants. Among the deceased were Amrish Puri, a local police constable, along with Umesh Puri alias Akash, Rukma Devi, and Neetu, identified as residents of the Borunda area in Jodhpur district.
Officials disclosed that excessive speed caused the head-on collision. Meanwhile, rescue operations were conducted by police and local residents, with additional police officers reaching the scene promptly. An investigation has been initiated, and the bodies have been moved to the mortuary at Kuchera hospital while the injured are undergoing treatment.
