Pedal for Planet: Mumbai's Cyclothon Paves Way for Green Future
BJYM Mumbai organized a successful Cyclothon, 'Pedal for Planet,' on World Environment Day. The initiative highlighted environmental awareness and sustainable living. Hundreds participated, including dignitaries, promoting eco-friendly practices and physical fitness as dual pillars for a healthier, greener future.
In an inspiring display of environmental advocacy, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Mumbai hosted a grand Cyclothon titled 'Pedal for Planet' on World Environment Day. Guided by BJP Mumbai President Shri Ameet Satam and led by BJYM Mumbai President Shri Deepak Singh, the event highlighted the critical importance of sustainable living.
Encouraging citizens towards ecological and personal well-being, the Cyclothon attracted a diverse crowd of youth, fitness enthusiasts, environmental advocates, and citizens committed to a greener future. Among the attendees were notable figures such as MCA President Shri Ajinkya Naik and other community leaders, all united under the cause of environmental preservation.
In his address, Shri Ameet Satam stressed shared responsibility in environmental conservation, advocating for the adoption of small, impactful changes in daily habits. BJYM President Shri Deepak Singh further emphasized the importance of collective action, stating that such initiatives are vital in inspiring the youth to embrace healthier, sustainable lifestyles. The Cyclothon concluded with participants pledging to foster a cleaner, greener Mumbai.
