Citigroup has delayed its call for a U.S. Federal Reserve rate cut by a month to October, citing a more hawkish stance from Fed officials.
The brokerage on Wednesday said it now forecasts rate cuts in October and December 2026, followed by another in January 2027, compared with its earlier expectation for cuts starting in September, October and December this year.
