Jet Airways CFO Amit Agarwal resigns with immediate effect

Jet Airways Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Amit Agarwal has resigned due to personal reasons with immediate effect.

Jet Airways said in a regulatory filing said, "We wish to inform that Amit Agarwal, the deputy chief executive officer and CFO of the company, has resigned from service due to personal reasons, with effect from May 13,".

Earlier, Jet Airways seized operations temporarily around mid- April due to an acute liquidity crisis. Most of the airline's board members have also quit in the last month.

Last week on the process of Jet Airways revival, SBI-led consortium of lenders to Jet Airways received bids from Etihad Airways and from a few unsolicited parties to acquire a stake in the grounded airline.
