Boeing has completed development of updated software for 737 Max, along with associated simulator testing and the company's engineering test flight. Boeing is now providing additional information to address FAA requests that include detail on how pilots interact with the aeroplane controls.
Boeing also developed enhanced training and education materials that are now being reviewed by the FAA, global regulators, and airline customers.
Boeing has said that once FAA's requests are addressed, the planemaker will work with FAA to schedule its certification test flight and submit final certification documentation.
Boeing is also giving information to address FAA requests including detail on how pilots interact with aeroplane displays in different flight scenarios.
