Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on Wednesday, with megacap growth stocks providing a boost as markets assessed a slew of comments from Federal Reserve officials to gauge the outlook for interest rates,

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 33.32 points, or 0.10%, at the open to 34,185.92.

The S&P 500 opened higher by 5.99 points, or 0.14%, at 4,384.37, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 20.36 points, or 0.15%, to 13,660.22 at the opening bell.
