Appinventiv Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the tech giant Appinventiv, has initiated the EduBoost Scholarship Program. This program aims to support tech aspirants from economically weaker sections by providing financial aid to meritorious students enrolled in the first year of B.Tech (C.S.E./I.T.) or B.C.A. at accredited colleges in India.

Announced at the inauguration of the Appinventiv Foundation, the organization has committed INR 1 Crore for the scholarship initiative. The research team found that many deserving candidates miss out due to caste-based criteria in over 90% of scholarships. By focusing solely on financial need, the foundation aims to support the economically weaker students.

'Appinventiv aims to aid meritorious young minds from financially weaker sections to overcome economic barriers and achieve their dreams through higher education,' said Saurabh Singh, CEO of Appinventiv. The program includes a transparent eligibility criterion, ensuring a minimum of 70% marks in the 12th grade and annual family income below INR 8 lakhs. Additionally, it promises a six-month internship at Appinventiv for scholarship recipients.
