Delhi University Releases Academic Calendar for 2024-2025

Delhi University has announced the academic calendar for first-year undergraduate students for the 2024-2025 session. Classes will commence on August 29, 2024, after a delay due to CUET score declaration issues. The session will end on June 7, and summer vacation will be from June 29 to July 20, 2025.

In a significant update, Delhi University on Saturday unveiled the academic calendar for first-year undergraduate students for the 2024-2025 session. According to the newly released schedule, classes for the incoming batch will commence on August 29, 2024. This marks a shift from the originally planned start date of August 1, which was postponed due to delays in the declaration of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores amid allegations of irregularities.

The academic session for undergraduate courses is set to conclude on June 7, 2025, with the onset of final exams. Following a brief two-day winter break, the second semester will kick off on January 27, 2025. Practical exams are scheduled to begin on May 25, which is also when the last class of the session will occur before students begin their preparation for final exams.

Furthermore, the dispersal of classes is expected to take place in the first week of May. The summer vacation for students is slated to start on June 29 and extend until July 20, 2025.
