IIFT Climbs to 15th Rank in NIRF 2024 Management Category

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has ascended to the 15th position in the management category of the NIRF 2024 rankings, released by the HRD Ministry. Established in 1963, IIFT has steadily improved its ranking over the years, reflecting significant progress in teaching, research, and professional practices. The institute is focusing on new initiatives including setting up centers for international negotiations and foreign trade case studies.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has made a notable leap to the 15th spot in the management category of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 rankings, a list released by the HRD ministry on August 12.

Last year, IIFT held the 27th position, continuing its upward trend from previous years. The institute’s progress highlights its commitment to enhancing education and research in international trade.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal lauded the achievement, emphasizing IIFT’s role in shaping future leaders in global trade. Additionally, IIFT is working on establishing centers for international negotiations and foreign trade case studies, further solidifying its academic influence.
