Teacher Aspirants Protest in Pune as TAIT Appointments Stall

Several teacher aspirants who cleared the Teachers Aptitude and Intelligence Test (TAIT) in Maharashtra are protesting in Pune for jobs. They claim to have been waiting for five months for their appointment letters from Rayat Shikshan Sanstha. Education Commissioner Suraj Mandhare indicated that the issue is currently in court.

Teacher aspirants in Maharashtra, who cleared the Teachers Aptitude and Intelligence Test (TAIT), have taken to the streets of Pune in protest, demanding job appointments that have been delayed for five months.

The protest, launched on August 13 in front of the Education Commissioner’s office, involves around 800 candidates who are awaiting appointment letters from Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, an education society running government-aided schools across the state.

Education Commissioner Suraj Mandhare confirmed that the matter is sub-judice, adding that appointments were halted due to a court case initiated by temporary workers at Rayat Shikshan Sanstha seeking permanent positions.
