The Latur district administration convened with representatives from sugar factories, colleges, and cooperative banks to discuss the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana of the Maharashtra government.
During Thursday's meeting, Collector Varsha Thakur-Ghuge urged these entities to participate in the initiative and facilitate job placements for the youth, according to an official.
The scheme offers monthly stipends of Rs 6,000 for Class XII pass-outs, Rs 8,000 for diploma holders, and Rs 10,000 for graduates, while they undergo six months of skill training.
