Student Ban: Mobile Mishaps in Madhyamik Exams

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has taken strict action against 20 students who violated exam policies by bringing mobile phones into exam halls during the recently concluded class 10 examinations.

This action follows the Board's prior announcement, which clearly prohibited the use of mobile phones or any electronic communication devices at exam centers, as stated by Board President Ramanuj Ganguly.

The violations occurred in several districts, including South 24 Parganas and Coochbehar. On the exam's final day, three students were barred from participating due to possession of mobile phones.
