FIIT JEE Faces Legal Trouble for Misleading Practices

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police has taken legal action against FIIT JEE Ltd, accusing the educational institute of dropping operations without notice and failing to deliver the services it assured its students. This development comes in the wake of 192 complaints lodged by disgruntled students and their parents about its practices.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (EOW) Vikram K Porwal, the complaints allege FIIT JEE engaged in misleading advertisements, exaggerated its success claims, and used deceptive marketing strategies to enroll students and collect significant fees. The complaints specifically target the east Delhi Centre in Laxmi Nagar.
A case is now filed against FIIT JEE Ltd, including its Managing Director Dinesh Kumar Goel and other officials, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, citing criminal breach of trust, cheating, and conspiracy.
