The Delhi government has made significant progress, clearing 52% of pending applications for various SC/ST/OBC scholarship schemes over the last three months, according to Social Welfare Minister Ravinder Indraj.
Key initiatives such as the Tuition Fee Reimbursement Scheme, ongoing scholarships, and new financial assistance for SC students studying abroad have been prioritized. The minister emphasized the development of an online portal to streamline application processes as part of continued improvements.
In addition to educational support, Indraj announced plans to hold a public awareness event against drug abuse on June 26 and cited efforts to reopen and establish hostels in every district for SC/ST students, highlighting the administration's commitment to support marginalized communities.
