Addressing the 11th convocation of the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Patel encouraged a skill-based educational approach under the new education policy.

Citing her successful 'Lab to Land' initiative in Gujarat, the Governor recommended universities actively engage with rural communities. She advocated for practical application of knowledge to bring tangible benefits to society and emphasized on including students from nearby villages to partake in higher education.
