Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks regarding vacant reserved posts for SCs, STs, and OBCs in central universities. Pradhan accused Gandhi of habitually engaging in 'politics of falsehood.'
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had criticized the Modi government for these vacancies, alleging a 'well-planned conspiracy' to exclude the Bahujans from education and policy-making. He demanded immediate action to fill these positions and grant 'Bahujans' their rightful opportunities.
Pradhan countered, alleging that under Congress rule, OBC posts were unfairly deemed 'unsuitable' and transferred to general category candidates. He asserted that the current administration has increased posts and employment for OBC candidates, challenging Gandhi's claims of exclusion.
