Fast Retailing Co, the parent company of UNIQLO, has announced a partnership with the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) to train future leaders in retail management.
This collaboration aims to meet the growing demand for specialized education in retail management by providing students with practical exposure, industry-aligned learning, and career opportunities, according to a statement from BIMTECH.
Through this initiative, both UNIQLO and BIMTECH seek to cultivate future leaders in retail via a structured and merit-based engagement, said BIMTECH Director Dr. Prabina Rajib, emphasizing the importance of real-world experience and retail innovation in shaping the sector's future.
